Thursday Top Three- Rainy day with kids

Here are my top 3 places to go with kids in and around Toronto on a rainy day! rainy day with kids

1)Playtown rainy day with kids

Playtown is an interactive children’s play centre completely unique from any other indoor area that we have been to in the GTA.  With a pretend hair salon, movie theatre, fire station and construction site there is bound to be an area that your kids love. There are 10 play areas in total to explore also including a veterinary clinic, cafe, grocery store and plasma car raceway. To read more about Playtown click here. rainy day with kids

2)Public Library

I take Morris and Rose to our local public library at least once a week. We read a pile of books and pick 5 to bring home. I always get 5 so that I always remember how many we have. We often borrow a children’s movie as well for our Friday movie night! Many libraries have baby/children’s times with songs and stories. I also recently learned that you can get a Museum & Arts pass to gain free entrance to many of Toronto’s museums and cultural attractions! rainy day with kids

3)Oaks n Acorns

Oaks n Acorns has drop-in play and over 40 different classes such as Music, Gym, Arts & Craft, Sports, Educational Baby, Dance, Drama and Women’s group fitness. Morris has tried the Big Top Hip Hop class and loved it! To read more about it click here and hererainy day with kids
