I consider myself a bit of a natural deodorant connoisseur. I’ve tried MANY…with little success. Until now. The brochure for The Green Beaver Company natural deodorant states that it “really works” and is “clinically proven to keep you fresh for up to 24 hours”. Even though I love all of the products that I have tried so far from this company (especially the Castile Soap) I was still skeptical. So I put it to the test. (I decided to try the lavender scent- I would suggest trying a couple different scents to find your match).
Day one: (I used the stick deodorant) natural deodorant
I took Rose to get a passport. This was honestly a better test of the deodorant (and my patience) than a bootcamp (which I did the next day). I parked in a very maze like underground parking lot. I put Rose in a carrier, and with all the necessary papers/photos and a diaper-bag full of everything I could possibly need with a baby, we set out to find the Service Canada office. We waited in line and then was told that we are travelling 1 DAY too early to be able to apply for passports at that office. I had to drive 20 minutes to an actual Passport Canada Office to apply. My patience was wearing thin, but at least I didn’t smell! Everything worked out in the end and fingers crossed our new passports will arrive on time.
Day two: (I used the spray deodorant) natural deodorant
My friend Anna and I went to a bootcamp. I am not usually a sweat-er but this bootcamp kicked my butt. I was dripping, fully out of breath and knew that my legs would struggle to take me up and down stairs the following day. But I DIDN’T smell! natural deodorant
I have continued to rotate between the two versions of The Green Beaver Company natural deodorants for the past few weeks and I LOVE them.
