Morris was insistent that we decorate the front of our house (including the inside hallway) this year. He said it had to be “VERY SPOOKY”. Halloween Decor
Once again I didn’t want to spend much money on this venture. I also wanted to keep it simple and monochrome. So to the dollar-store I went. For under $15 I bought: a skeleton arm to stick in the garden, a ton (like way too many) spider webs (with small spiders), a large spider, a hanging ghost (which lights up) and some construction paper.

Morris had SO much fun hanging the spider webs and baby spiders and told me where to place the giant spider.
With the construction paper I made bats and ghosts (free printable below) in various sizes. Cut them out and taped/hung them up.

Apparently it is “spooky enough” but next year it needs to be “EVEN MORE spooky”. I’m open to suggestions!
