I knew before she was born that I wanted to co-sleep with Rose. Morris was a terrible sleeper as a baby and only slept well in my arms while I spent the night awake making sure he was safe and I wasn’t rolling over onto him. We tried 3 different bassinetes and a swing, but he wanted to be close to me. I was dreading the same sleepless nights with Rose so when a friend told me about the DockATot it sounded like the answer to my baby sleep prayers, and it has been. I sleep soundly next to Rose, in her DockATot, knowing that she is safe. .
Since day 1 Rose has been sleeping well in her DockATot, waking every few hours to breastfeed (she’s even had a handful of 4-5 hour stretches of sleep!) I also use a swaddle sleep-sack, which keeps her cozy.
DockATot is a multi-functional lounger, co-sleeper and playtime lounger. Rose also enjoys spending time in it when she is awake with her play gym above her to look at.
When Morris was young we spent a lot of time away from home, visiting family and hanging out at friend’s cottages. Lugging our pack and play along with us everywhere was quite cumbersome. The DockATot is VERY lightweight, and comes in a light plastic zipper bag to keep it clean while travelling. Both my husband and I have mentioned to each other numerous times already, “I wish this existed when Morris was a baby!”.
