I consider myself a bit of a natural deodorant connoisseur. I’ve tried MANY…with little success. Until now. The brochure for The Green Beaver Company natural deodorant states that it “really works” and is “clinically proven to keep you fresh for up to 24 hours”. Even though I love all of the products that I have tried so far from this company (especially the Castile Soap) I was still skeptical. Child Loss Should Not be a Taboo Subject

After meeting in a prenatal class Lysanne Louter and Francesca Brunsden’s sons were born 10 days apart. The two moms bonded over their shared struggles with postpartum anxiety, child loss, and miscarriage. They decided to start a clothing company (Frannie + Lilo) committed to being ethical, eco-conscious and empowering. Their shirts are made in Toronto with organic cotton and bamboo. A portion of every shirt sold supports miscarriage, child-loss and postpartum mental health charities. October is International SIDS, Miscarriage and Infant Loss Awareness Month. To honour her son, who she lost from a miscarriage at 24 weeks, Francesca wrote the compelling piece below.
